Joomla! 1.7 WoW Progress Tracker 5.0 lives!

Dear World of Warcraft gamers,

today I'm releasing the 5th version of WoW Progress Tracker. Here is the changelog:

  • Compatible with Joomla! 1.7 (going to make it 1.6 compatible too)
  • New, easy configuration, no CSS customization, but you can easily change it via the CSS files in the module folder (style.css and vtip.css)
  • Written in Javascript using the new Battle.net JSON API, together with jQuery and vTip for the tooltips
  • Images source is included in the src folder in order to easily change the graphics without doing all the things from ground up (xcf, open with (free) GIMP)
  • Javascript sources (non-minified) also included in the src folder. Please read carfully the extra licence for them.
Also I've renewed the download application, it should no longer show PHP warnings. Also now its check for emails is case-insensitive (some people used to register to PayPal capitalizing their email addresses and were unable to download the package).
 
Last but not least, I've replaced the newsletter Joomla component (JINC), which seems to be more dynamic than the previous one (including different newsletters for different projects). The only conseguence is that the ones who subscribed before today have to re-subscribe to the new one.
